Early Frosty (Pisum sativum) is a superior English shelling pea heirloom — outstanding quality and sweetness, recommended by Utah State University for its exceptional performance. Dark green, 3½-inch pods in pairs on vigorous, wilt-resistant 3-foot vines. One of the easiest to shell. Holds quality long after picking. Best in early sowings and cool climates. Superior for freezing.
Direct sow outdoors 4–6 weeks before last frost in full sun. Plant 1 inch deep, 6 inches apart. Provide support for 3-foot vines. Best flavor before pods are completely filled. Harvest frequently for continuous production.

The seeds arrived around the estimated time of arrival. They were well packaged and looked good. I planted a few 3 days ago and I've already got sprouts.
I hope these flowers will grow in North Dakota! The colors are vibrant and hopefully the bees will like them. I will have to wait until after the Big Thaw in April before I can plant them - can't wait!
