Pacific Beauty, Calendula,

Calendula Pacific Beauty makes it easy to grow annual flowers. Its name refers to its tendency to bloom with the calendar, usually once a month or with every new moon. Lovely flowers up to 4 inches in colors of orange, apricot, yellow, peach, and cream colors. A historical heirloom garden plant is also known as "Pot Marigold." Calendula has historically been used as a food, adding flavor to cereals, rice, and soups. The petals can be added to salads for their brilliant color. Annual and self-seeding, it will proliferate fast and easily. Harvest bright orange flowers throughout the year. Fresh, edible flower petals are added to salads, soups, and sandwiches. Dried petals are used year-round to season soups and rice.
