Tigerella (Solanum lycopersicum) is a celebrated Old World heirloom from England — an early, prolific, indeterminate tomato producing 4–6 oz fruits with striking red-and-yellow-orange stripes. Tangy, zesty flavor with hefty yields. Immature fruits are light green with dark green stripes; at maturity the stripes alternate red and yellow-orange. Perfect for salads and fresh eating. 70–75 days.
Start indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors after frost danger has passed, spacing plants 24–36 inches apart in full sun. Stake or cage — vines reach 6 feet. Water consistently. Harvest when stripes turn red and yellow-orange.
