Jory (Solanum lycopersicum) was grown throughout the Willamette Valley for canning in the 1920s — most likely dry-farmed — making it an excellent candidate for dry-farm production today. Oxheart-shaped but much earlier than any other oxheart, Jory produces vigorous vines with a truly multi-use tomato. When irrigated well, it is incredibly juicy, sweet, and delicious with very high yields of 8–12 oz fruit. Produces extremely well late into the season for such an early variety. 60 days.
Start 6–8 weeks before last frost indoors. Transplant outdoors after frost danger has passed, spacing plants 24–36 inches apart in full sun. Stake or cage. Water consistently for best juiciness and yield. Harvest when fruits are fully colored and slightly soft. 60 days from transplant.

The seeds arrived around the estimated time of arrival. They were well packaged and looked good. I planted a few 3 days ago and I've already got sprouts.
I hope these flowers will grow in North Dakota! The colors are vibrant and hopefully the bees will like them. I will have to wait until after the Big Thaw in April before I can plant them - can't wait!
