German Johnson (Solanum lycopersicum) is the pride of Virginia and North Carolina — a large, deep pink heirloom beefsteak thought to be one of the four parent lines of the legendary “Radiator Charlie” Mortgage Lifter. Enormous 1–2 lb fruits are deep pink, very flavorful, and nearly crack-free. Rich, full tomato flavor with a meaty texture that makes every slice count. Indeterminate. 80–90 days.
Start indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost. Transplant outdoors after frost danger has passed, spacing plants 24–36 inches apart in full sun. Stake or cage. Water consistently. Harvest when fruits are fully pink and slightly soft. 80–90 days from transplant.

The seeds arrived around the estimated time of arrival. They were well packaged and looked good. I planted a few 3 days ago and I've already got sprouts.
I hope these flowers will grow in North Dakota! The colors are vibrant and hopefully the bees will like them. I will have to wait until after the Big Thaw in April before I can plant them - can't wait!
