Fenugreek

Fenugreek is a spice with a maple twist to its flavor. It's mostly used for culinary purposes but is also popularly used in animal feed, medicinal use, as a cover crop, or in container gardening. As for its culinary use you can find it used in Indian, South, and Central Asian cuisines such as curry, dal, pickles, and spice mixes. Its medicinal use is most often used to reduce fevers and ease menstrual pains while there are many other uses.
