Hales Best Jumbo Heirloom Cantaloupe is a traditional favorite. Large, oval, ribbed fruits weighing up to 4 to 5 pounds. With heavy netting and fine-textured, bright orange flesh, it has a sweet flavor. The fruit is very sweet. I have been told many times that if this is not the best cantaloupe that you have ever had it is the 2nd best. These melons are so good, that the whole large melon will be consumed in one sitting. As with most cantaloupes, it has a short shelf life, especially when collected when turning golden. The seed cavity is fairly small for the size of the fruit. Highly recommend! 85 days
