Golden Delicious Hubbard (Cucurbita maxima) is a golden-orange skinned Hubbard heirloom — large, pear-shaped fruits with smooth, bright golden-orange skin and exceptionally sweet, dry, deep orange flesh. One of the finest-flavored winter squash for pies, soups, and roasting. Weighs 10–15 lbs. Excellent keeper. 100 days.
Direct sow outdoors after last frost in full sun, or start indoors 3–4 weeks before transplanting. Sow 1 inch deep, spacing plants 48–60 inches apart. Water consistently. Harvest when skin is hard and stem is dry.

The seeds arrived around the estimated time of arrival. They were well packaged and looked good. I planted a few 3 days ago and I've already got sprouts.
I hope these flowers will grow in North Dakota! The colors are vibrant and hopefully the bees will like them. I will have to wait until after the Big Thaw in April before I can plant them - can't wait!
