All that time spent perfecting it means that this turnip is beautifully round, golden yellow, and full of peppery sweet flavor. Some say the best-tasting turnip. 3-4" roots are perfectly shaped amber globes. Sweet, mellow, and smooth. Delicate-grained meaty flesh that is never woody. They are firm in texture and store wonderfully. The greens are tasty, too! Turnips are always a great choice, and Gold Ball turnips are no exception. 70 days to maturity.
