Confetti Mix Radish Seeds — Heirloom Organic | Red, White & Bi-Color Blend, Crisp & Flavorful, 25 Days

Raphanus sativus — Confetti Mix is the radish planting that makes the harvest basket look like a celebration. A fast-maturing blend of classic red, bright white, and bi-colored radishes — all with the same crisp, snappy texture and clean, peppery flavor. Ready in just 25 days, this is one of the fastest crops in the garden. Beautiful at farmers' markets, in CSA boxes, and on the table. ~100+ seeds per packet.

Why Grow Confetti Mix?

  • Three-color blend — red, white, and bi-colored radishes in one sowing; visually striking in the garden and at market
  • 25-day maturity — one of the fastest crops available; ideal for succession sowing and filling gaps between slower crops
  • Crisp, clean flavor — classic peppery radish bite with excellent texture; not pithy or bitter when harvested at the right size
  • Market grower favorite — the color mix sells itself; perfect for bunching and display
  • Succession sowing — sow every 2 weeks for a continuous harvest across the cool season
  • Organic, open-pollinated heirloom — save seed year after year

In the Kitchen

  • Fresh sliced: The classic use — slice thin into salads, grain bowls, and tacos for crunch and peppery bite
  • Crudités: Serve whole with butter and flaky salt in the French style; the color mix makes a beautiful presentation
  • Quick pickles: Slice thin and pickle in rice vinegar, sugar, and salt for 30 minutes; use on banh mi, ramen, and grain bowls
  • Roasted: Halve and roast at 400°F with olive oil; roasting mellows the heat and brings out sweetness
  • Radish top pesto: The greens are edible — blend young tops with garlic, olive oil, and parmesan for a peppery pesto

Growing Notes

  • Season: Cool-season crop; best in spring and fall; becomes pithy and bitter in heat
  • Direct sow: Preferred method; sow ½ inch deep, 1 inch apart; thin to 4 inches as seedlings establish
  • Soil: Light, well-worked, well-draining; add compost to improve structure; deeply water before sowing
  • Watering: Consistent moisture; dry soil causes pithiness and bitterness
  • Containers: Excellent container crop; use containers at least 10 inches deep; mulch to retain moisture
  • Harvest: Pull at desirable size — do not let radishes over-mature; they become fibrous and hollow
  • Succession sowing: Every 2 weeks for continuous harvest across the cool season
  • Companion crops: Excellent interplanted with broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower; radishes mature quickly and are harvested before the slower crops need the space
