Heirloom Vegetable Garden Seeds for People Who Want to Grow Their Own Healthy Food

Welcome to Box Garden Seeds, located in Ammon, Idaho. We offer open-pollinated and heirloom garden seeds with a focus on natural, small-space, and season-extending gardening techniques.

Our Approach to Growing

We use a combination of natural box garden, raised bed, square foot, cubed foot, and lasagna gardening methods — with an urban twist — to grow most of our tomato seeds and gardens. We also work with a select group of organic sources for other garden seeds.

We have been growing heirloom tomatoes for 40+ years and selling heirloom tomato seeds for 20+ years. We started out selling our produce and seeds at farmers markets in the Ammon area and on Etsy, and have since expanded to offer a wider variety of naturally grown seeds for your garden.

We feel that genetically engineered varieties have been insufficiently tested prior to public release. More research and testing are necessary to further assess the potential risks of genetically engineered seeds. Further, we wish to support agricultural progress that leads to healthier soils, genetically diverse agricultural ecosystems, and ultimately healthy people and communities."
