Three Sisters Garden, Seed Collection,
"The Three Sisters" comes from an Iroquois legend. According to the legend, corn, beans, and squash are inseparable sisters given to the people by the "Great Spirit." However, it is essential to note that the "Three sisters" are also found in many other areas and tribes around North America.
Corn, beans, and squash are known as the Three Sisters. For centuries, these three crops have been the center of Native American agriculture and culinary traditions. This is for a good reason, as they complement each other nutritionally in the garden.
