Osaka Purple, Mustard,

Osaka Purple Mustard leaves are succulent and tender; the stems are sweet with a crisp and crunchy texture. Osaka Purple mustard greens have a savory, spicy, and peppery flavor. The young leaves are sweet but grow to become pungent at the full 80 days. Another excellent choice for salad mixes. Plant Osaka Purple mustard seeds in containers and harvest them as microgreens, baby greens, or full-sized mustard leaves for salad mixes. Osaka Purple is cold hardy, and can be harvested late in the fall and early in the spring. Pick this mustard leaf by leaf for eating (instead of uprooting the entire plant.) Frost improves the flavor and color. This variety is highly productive, slow to bolt to seed, and extremely winter hardy. They will grow outside through the winter, even under snow. Forty days (mature) or 20 days (baby greens).
