Cream Sausage produces elongated, creamy-yellow tomatoes with meaty flesh and a pleasantly mild flavor, perfect for a colorful salsa, fresh salad, or golden pasta sauce. Sow approximately ¼ inch deep in seed-starting mix, provide warmth and strong light, and harden seedlings off gradually. Transplant after frost danger has passed and soil has warmed, into full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.

Allow approximately 24–36 inches between plants, adjusting for your growing setup. Although the bushy plants can grow without staking, a low cage or short stake can help keep fruit off the soil and support loaded branches. Avoid the routine single-stem pruning used for tall indeterminate tomatoes.

For square foot gardening, plan on 1 plant per 4 sq ft (allow extra canopy room).
